The World Standard in Impulse Tools – Cleco Impulse Tools

There is no doubt that Cleco impulse tools are the new world standard in impulse tools. They are specially designed for assembling products where quality, high production rates, and efficiency are critical. In such applications, they repeatedly prove their superiority. Consistent performance, unmatched durability, ease of use and maintenance make these tools the first choice for leading manufacturing companies worldwide.
Large Tool Selection
With a large number of impulse screwdrivers, with and without shut-off, available, you are sure to find exactly the right Cleco tool for your application.
Torque Measurement via Hydraulic Pressure for Precise Shut-off
In this system patented by Cooper Power Tools, the torque is detected via the hydraulic pressure. As the rotational resistance on the fastener increases, the hydraulic pressure also rises. This pressure actuates the shut-off valve, thus stopping the motor upon reaching the target torque. Releasing the trigger automatically resets the tool for the next cycle.
Easy External Torque Adjustment
You adjust the torque externally with just one operation. Once set, the chosen torque remains precisely set. The newly developed torque adjustment screw ensures better clamping so that the set torque is actually achieved.
Higher Torque Accuracy
A mechanical regulator ensures that Cleco impulse tools operate at a consistent tightening speed. This reduces the torque peak during tightening with improved repeatability and torque accuracy.
Cleco Operation
The new Cleco impulse screwdrivers have low-oil vanes for use in clean assembly environments.
Patented Expansion Chamber
The patented design of the expansion chamber ensures the significantly longer service life of Cleco impulse screwdrivers compared to competitors' tools. During application, the hydraulic fluid in the tool heats up and expands. Because the expansion chamber allows for this expansion, the lifespan of the hydraulic fluid and the tool is substantially increased.
Operator Comfort is Top Priority
Operator comfort plays a major role in the assembly industry today. It is essential that the tool feels good in the hand. Since grip widths vary greatly among individuals, Cleco impulse tools are offered with two different handle sizes. This allows a larger number of users to work comfortably with our tools.
Low Vibration
The dual-chamber hydraulics lead to extremely low vibration. This prevents the occurrence of "Cumulative Trauma Disorder" (CTD).
Low Reaction Torque
The hydraulic impulse unit absorbs virtually all of the reaction torque that is normally transmitted to the operator. This ultimately increases the user's productivity.
Low Noise Emission
The noise emission of this tool type is significantly lower than that of normal pneumatic tools, contributing to a user-friendly environment. No loud metallic impact noise occurs under load.
Higher Performance with Lower Air Consumption
Our exclusive dual-chamber motor consumes approximately 50 percent less compressed air than conventional motors and operates without lubrication. The design works with a constant idle speed and offers performance reserves for demanding applications. And all without lubrication!
