IBEDA Hose Coupling Systems PUSH or PULL

The IBEDA top hat diaphragm couplings are offered with a Push locking system or, alternatively, with a Pull locking system. Users can now choose between two locking systems, depending on their preference or habit, while all properties of the IBEDA couplings remain identical. The only difference is the direction of movement of the locking sleeve when locking or unlocking the coupling.

Certified Quality through BAM Testing and Additional Testing for Longer Service Life

The one-hand quick coupling for hoses has successfully undergone a voluntary special test by the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) and passed a continuous stress test of 6000 coupling test cycles. Compared to the required standard of 1000 cycles, the hose coupling was still fully functional and gas-tight after this test. The hose coupling has thus set a new standard for all applications in welding technology and is also excellently suited for tough industrial use.

In the test, the hose couplings showed a service life more than five times longer than generally required by the standard. They are therefore excellently suited for all standard applications in welding and gas technology and are particularly predestined for tough industrial use in steelworks, shipyards, offshore areas, and open-pit mining.

The IBEDA hose couplings (one-hand quick couplings) according to EN 561/ ISO 7289 were tested for continuous stress with 6000 coupling test cycles according to paragraph 7.7 of EN 561 and subsequently checked for gas tightness according to paragraph 9.7. After this test, the couplings remained fully functional and gas-tight.
