Thermal management quick couplings and plugs for temperature control
Thermal management is a growing issue in almost all industries. The use of machines that generate heat and need to be cooled is increasing almost everywhere. Cooling with liquids is much more efficient than with air and thus enables much better temperature control, for example in computers, server cabinets and electronics racks. The requirements for quick couplings and connectors for connecting the cooling circuits are very high. Thermal management requires safe, reliable and easy-to-use high-flow quick couplings to provide effective cooling.

Thermal Management by Parker
Parker's Thermal Management division offers complete connection solutions for thermal management in information technologies (processor cooling, server cooling, rack cooling), energy management (solar and wind energy), transportation (cooling of trains, electric vehicles and ships), and industrial applications (cooling of machines and production lines, e.g., for semiconductors, lasers, plastics processing, electronics). Parker's Thermal Management encompasses the entire liquid cooling system, including quick couplings, fittings, hoses, manifolds, accessories, and bleed valves.
The individual components are selected to match the specific application. There are various materials for the Thermal Management quick coupling, as well as different seals and connection sizes. For control cabinets, for example, a special coupling system (RNS series) has been developed, which significantly simplifies the coupling and locking of cooling circuits on racks.
The Thermal Management catalog can be found here: Parker Catalogs
Prevention of Leaks
In many working environments, such as server rooms and electronic machines, it is essential not to lose any fluid when the cooling line is disconnected. The thermal management quick coupling, with its dry-break system and FlatFace valves, is dead-space-free and drip-free. The flat-sealing valve design reliably prevents leakage during the coupling and uncoupling process, thereby protecting sensitive electronics and all electrical connections.
Compact Design for Confined Spaces
The reduction in the size of our Thermal Management couplings and plugs allows for their use even in the tightest spaces. In control cabinets, server racks, and machines requiring cooling, space for cooling is often limited. Small dimensions combined with relatively high flow rates provide excellent application possibilities for temperature control.
Low pressure drop ensures energy savings while maintaining optimal performance of the cooling system.

What is the difference between "Thermomanagement" and "Thermal Management"?
The manufacturer Parker uses the international term "Thermal Management" for its product range of quick-release solutions for temperature control and cooling. "Thermomanagement," on the other hand, corresponds more to the German usage and is a universal term for controlling energy flows (especially heat flows).
