Dotco® Hand Drills
Dotco® drills are used daily in a wide variety of applications – ranging from aerospace to oil fields and refineries. Three designs are available – pistol grip, straight handle (straight drills), and right-angle models (angle drills). Drills in this section feature power between 0.3 and 1.5 HP. Auxiliary handles are also available for some models.
Interchangeability of Parts
Tool maintenance can be both time-consuming and costly. For this reason, Dotco products were developed with a high degree of interchangeability of individual parts. When fewer individual parts are required for the repair of our tools, the inventory of necessary parts can be reduced, and the repair of the tools themselves is simplified.

Whether it is an arbor, drill chuck, motor, or bevel gear head – our parts are made from the best materials and manufactured to the highest tolerances. The new Dotco drills have been extensively and newly designed ergonomically. They now offer more comfort and better productivity while ensuring less fatigue, risk of injury, and downtime.

The grips of the new Series 14 are more oval, as this better corresponds to the contours of the human hand. The tool does not slip as easily. Our research has also led to the integration of a new rubber grip for better temperature regulation, as exhausted compressed air in a metal housing can make the tool feel cold and reduce speed and effectiveness.
In addition, the goal is direct power transmission so that the user can apply force to the tool with the greatest control, the strongest direct force, the least angular force, and the least wrist fatigue. For this reason, we have developed new drills with ergonomic finger and thumb guides. And for this reason, we have also installed a protective edge under the trigger so that the other fingers are kept at a safe distance from the trigger function.
The trigger only needs to be lightly depressed. The trigger mechanism includes a valve with a pressurized tip. Once the initial resistance is overcome, nothing stands in your way.
