Overview of Rectus Valve Types

Standard Valve
The proven valve technology, with its robust and compact design, has been reliably serving in many applications for decades. You can find this valve design, for example, in the 26KA Series. With a nominal bore of 7.4, a flow rate of approximately 1,000 l/min is possible (air).

UltraFlo Valve
This flow-optimized valve design can increase flow by up to 80 percent compared to conventional systems due to fewer turbulences. You can find this valve design, for example, in the 25KA Series. With a nominal bore of 7.4, a flow rate of approximately 1,800 l/min is possible (air).

Ultra HighFlow Valve
This extremely flow-optimized tube valve optimizes flow through minimal turbulence on the extremely smooth inner surfaces and a reduced change in geometry in the media flow with a continuous nominal bore and compact design. The valve springs are also separated from the flow medium, optimizing energy efficiency through low coupling forces. You can find this high-end valve design, for example, in the 1600KA Series. With a nominal bore of 7.4, a flow rate of approximately 2,100 l/min is possible (air).
Straight-Through
These coupling systems operate without a shut-off valve and thus achieve the greatest possible flow performance. Furthermore, turbulence that can occur with integrated valves is completely eliminated. Straight-through couplings are ideally suited for liquid media – e.g., water applications. The flow must be stopped before uncoupling.
Single Shut-Off
In single shut-off systems, the plug is straight-through, but the coupling shuts off immediately when the connection is separated. The escape of media flowing in the line is effectively prevented. An ideal solution for operating compressed air tools.
Double Shut-Off
In double shut-off systems, the flow stops in both the coupling and the plug after separation of a connection. The medium remains in the hose in both connecting lines, and the pressure is kept constant and not relieved.
Low-Leakage Design
Low-leakage coupling systems are equipped with valves on the coupling and the plug that do not create dead volume. Thus, not a single drop of the conveyed medium escapes during the separation of the connection. This variant is particularly suitable for moving aggressive media or in sensitive environments – e.g., in clean rooms.
