Product information "Pozidriv® PZ2"

Pozidriv is a development of the Phillips cross head for higher speed screwdriving in torque-limited machines. In contrast to the Phillips profile, the flanks of the output are milled plane-parallel. As a result, they do not taper and the larger surface makes it easier to screw in the screw.

To avoid confusion with the Phillips profile, four lines are marked at a 45° angle on the screw head.
Pozidriv screwdrivers cannot be used with Phillips screws. Conversely, Phillips screwdrivers can be used to a limited extent with play.

Material: High-alloy tool steel, heat treated
Advantages: no chrome vanadium, but tool steel (does not splinter when overloaded) Suitable for hand tools and rotating tools
Additional information: Meets industrial requirements
