97% lower CO2e emissions in 2025 with DHL GoGreen Plus

In 2025, we reduced the CO2e emissions of our shipping operations by 97%. This was made possible through our participation in DHL GoGreen Plus.

CO2e stands for “CO2 equivalents.” It includes not only carbon dioxide (CO2), but also other greenhouse gases such as methane and nitrous oxide. This makes it possible to measure and compare the overall climate impact more accurately.

GoGreen Plus is a DHL service that focuses on directly reducing emissions in transport rather than simply offsetting them. To achieve this, DHL uses more sustainable fuels in air transport, which generate significantly lower CO2e emissions than conventional fuel. The resulting emission savings are then allocated to the shipping volume of participating companies.

For us, this was a straightforward way to make our shipping more climate-friendly without changing our existing processes. Especially in international shipping, the impact is noticeable.
